Agenda: Keith A. Mundy, will provide an opening presentation about how various Christian denominations, institutions, organizations, and congregations are shaping creative stewardship practices through the Ecumenical Stewardship Center (www.stewardshipresources.org). This will be followed by a panel discussion including selected local stewardship leaders.
About Keith A. Mundy
For almost eight years, Keith has served on the staff of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Starting with the Resident Stewardship Service, continuing with Salt Stewardship Ministry, and now as Area Ministry Stewardship Staff, Keith has served more than 200 congregations from coast to coast. As a developer and presenter of a variety of stewardship modules and workshops, he focuses on connecting with members and leaders in their context. As Team Leader for the Area Ministry Stewardship Staff, Keith is responsible for planning and coordinating efforts to serve all sixty-five synods. This includes working with Shared & Deployed Stewardship Staff, Pastors, Mission Interpreters and Stewardship Chairpersons in congregations.
Prior to joining the staff of the ELCA, Keith received a degree in finance and economics from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Marketing from California State University in Fullerton, CA. For almost twenty years, Keith worked in businesses connected to manufacturing, construction and professional services. His assignments included market research and assessments, new product development and introduction, marketing systems, profit center planning, acquisitions and divestitures. As a lay leader, he has also served to begin a mission congregation, on congregation council in a large congregation, been involved in at least five building appeals, and chaired the Central States Stewardship Committee for two years.
